Supporting
Child CareProviders
Building a More Child-Centered Oregon

Our Mission
We support child care providers by funding projects that preserve, improve, and expand child care facilities.
BuildUp Oregon offers several forms of assistance to qualified child care providers.

Grants
The Preschool for All (PFA) Facilities Fund supports family child care programs and child care centers in Multnomah County. Grants are available for renovation and repair, pre-development, and new center development projects.
The Oregon Housing and Community Service (OHCS) Co-Location Fund supports partnerships between developers and providers to build new early care and education centers co-located with affordable housing across Oregon.
Loans
If project costs exceed available grant funding, BuildUp Oregon offers financing through partner CDFIs. Loans can range from less than $50,000 to more than $1 million.
Expert Guidance
You will be matched with a Facility Advisor, who offers one-on-one support. Advisors help with project management, business development, regulatory navigation, applications, and more.
